  • Who do I help?

As a chiropractor, I help get your spine moving as it should. Your spine has 24
individual bones that intricately articulate together. If you or a love one has a
restriction in these motions of the spine, the resulting stiffness, or loss of motion
causes inflammation that can put pressure on the nerves that branch off of the
spinal cord where they exit the spine. It’s much like stepping on the hose when
you are filling a bucket…it slows the flow of water. When this process happens to
a nerve, it slows the communication between your brain and body. The areas of
the body that those nerves control will experience some form of dysfunction. An
adjustment is made to restore proper motion and relieve the pressure that was
on the nervous system. The many conditions I’ve helped patients with include:
    Neck pain
    Arm pain
    Back pain
    Headaches
    Leg pain
    Muscle cramps
    Sciatica
    Shoulder pain
    Shoulder tension
    Poor posture
    Sleeping troubles
    Constipation
    Bed-wetting, and more.

  • What do I do?

After care has been established, you can expect a normal visit to be about 30
minutes. The longer appointment times means that your care is thorough—there
will be no rushing you out the door after a quick, basic adjustment here. Every adjustment begins with about 10 minute of massage from a hand held tool called
a Vibracussor. The goal with this is to reduce the tension in the muscles that attach to the spine before I begin adjusting. This helps make adjustments easier on both the patient and the doctor and it helps the effects of the adjustment last longer. After the adjustment, I will likely show you some exercises and/or
stretches to help speed your recovery and maintain your mobility. I will address
concerns with your work station set up or other aspects of your lifestyle as needed, bringing a well-rounded approach to your care. I will also provide nutritional consultations and diet recommendations to help improve your overall health. I utilize several adjusting techniques depending on your comfort level. If you prefer a particular method, I’ll be happy to accommodate your preferences. Your input is encouraged and welcome at all times, because open communication plays a significant role in getting you the results you’re looking for.

  • Do you take insurance?

If you have insurance, I can provide you with a superbill. A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes all of the appropriate diagnostic and treatment codes that enable the insurance company to reimburse you directly. You are their customer and they will make payment to you much faster than they will to me. This is done in order to keep my office simple and hassle free. Insurance companies are known for making billing difficult for practitioners. If I chose to bill insurance, I would need to hire additional employees, buy much more equipment, have extra office space to house the billing department and spend many more hours in the office instead of spending time on my farm with my family…Its just not worth it to me.
